Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 
  • 1/4 c. freshly chopped parsley
  • 2 tbsp. freshly chopped dill 
  • 2 tbsp. freshly chopped chives
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
DIRECTIONS
  In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to three weeks.


Simple Lemon Vinaigrette  (I can't take credit for this simples and delicious dressing. It comes from Ina Garden. You can't go wrong with anything she creates. She's my Julia Child.) 
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper 
  • If you like yours a little sweeter, add a tablespoon of honey or honey mustard before giving it a shake. 
DIRECTIONS
  In a measuring cup combine all ingredients and whisk. Or use a bottle, like I like to do and give it a shake. That's it. Super simple. A
